Introductory and Beginner Level Classes
A 30 mins class encompassing a play based program that allows first time gymnasts to explore the world of gymnastics through play based circuits. This program designed to introduce children to the fundamentals of gymnastics who have no previous experience.. Children are introduced to the different elements through circuit play with a certified Active Start Coach. Ages 4 yrs
Junior Rec I
A 45 mins class designed for children ages 5-7 yrs who have never participated in a gymnastics activity. Children become familiarized with the gymnastics club and equipment, learn the fundamentals and basic terminology as well as work through progressions focused on skills in introductory gymnastics.
Senior Rec I
This 60 mins class is the progression for the Junior Rec I class or a great starting point for ages 8 years and up. Athletes completing the Jr Rec I class would level to this program for advancement training. This is also a great starting point for children coming from another sport such as acro or dance.
Senior Rec II
This 90 mins class is recommended for athletes who have completed the Senior Rec I or are older beginners. This class introduces athletes to a more technical approach of learning skills.
Intermediate and Advanced Level Classes
Teen Rec (Not offered for Fall 2020)
Two classes per week of 2 hours. Competition option available. The Teen Rec class is recommended for those athletes who wish to continue advancing in recreational gymnastics rather than enter the JO competitive program. A skill assessment or completion of Sr Rec II is required.
Advanced Rec (Not offered for Fall 2020)
The Advanced Rec class is a continuation of the recreational program. It is also a great class for those athletes wanting to make the switch from competitive to recreational classes. Try out may be required to ensure adequate skill base.
Developmental Classes (intro to competitive)
This 90 mins class is recommended for athletes who have who may have a natural aptitude for gymnastics at a young age. This class introduces athletes to a more technical approach of learning skills. This class is best suited for children ages 4-7 yrs
